92488 complaints registered in Bhubaneswar For Tata ‘Power Cuts’

It makes sense that Tata Power’s service is allegedly subpar given that 92,488 complaints specifically about power supply were filed in Bhubaneswar between June 2020 and September 2022. In order to provide better service to the consumers, the state government transferred the power distribution service to Tata Power in June 2020.

In Bhubaneswar, between June 2020 and September 2022, 92,488 complaints were filed, according to an RTI report. If all of the complaints filed in the state are combined, the number of complaints will reach its pinnacle. Surprisingly, power outages account for a lion’s share of all complaints. They number 67,802 in total. 8680 of these complaints came from the Kanan Vihar area, while 9,762 of them originated in Chandrasekharpur Phase II.

In addition to the power outage issue, low voltage concerns were also made. 11129 complaints were filed throughout the aforementioned time period. There were 13,557 complaints in total for other problems.

Tata Power has requested additional time to improve its service while announcing that there won’t be any power outages for the next two years.
