Who said CM Naveen is not worried about Odisha people. The most talented, extraordinary firebrand personality Mr Naveen Patnaik put his first step in a significant boost to Make In Odisha.
On Monday, JSW Group’s Managing Director Sajjan Jindal revealed that the Integrated Steel Plant Project of JSW with a capacity of 13.2 MTPA at Jatadhar in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha would come up soon during a video conference with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Mr. Jindal said they are fully committed to the Jagatsinghpur project, and they are getting full support from the entire state machinery as well, and they want to start the project very soon.
CM Naveen has also said that JSW is tying up with IIM Sambalpur to create “JSW Centre for Development Studies for Odisha” and added that the company has plans to invest over one lakh crore rupees in Odisha in next ten years.
While speaking to the CM in the conference, Mr. Jindal expressed his desire to make Odisha a trillion-dollar economy.
Odisha’s government has allocated land, water, and power for the proposed project, said CM. During the conference, he stressed on maximum value addition within Odisha to create jobs for youth and accelerate revenue generation.
CM said JSW Steel would also establish a 100 bedded hospital and a school at Koida in Sundergarh district in PPP mode to develop mining areas for the benefits of the local people.
We hope this project will bring the new rise of the sun in Odisha, and Odisha people will soon free of poverty. The project will start early with the full support of state government, said CM Naveen Patnaik.
