After a slight rise in daily new COVID positive cases in Odisha a couple of days back, there is fall yet again in the daily number of cases. As per the reports, in the last 24 hours 141 new COVID cases has been registered in Odisha, 14 less than day before yesterday tally of 155. The state had seen 183 cases on Wednesday, 146 on Tuesday, 186 on Monday and 193 on Sunday.

According to the I & PR department, 84 of the new infections are from quarantine and 57 local contacts. Among them, 19 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khurda reported the highest of 58 new cases followed by Cuttack with 12. Eleven districts reported nil cases.
