Government Of Odisha Issues Timeline For Delimitation Of Wards And Reservation Of Seats

A budget of Rs. 710.20 crore has been allocated to the industries department for FY 2023–2024 in order to build a top-notch land bank, an industrial & supporting infrastructure, and investment facilitation in the State. According to Industry Minister Pratap Keshari Deb, a sizeable budget of Rs 556 crore has been set aside for the construction of industry-ready infrastructure, which is 240% greater than the budget set aside in FY 2021-22 and more than 25% more than the budget set aside in FY 2022-23.

Speaking to the media on the highlights of Budget 2023–24 today at Geeta Gobind Sadan According to Minister Deb, one of the government’s top priorities is creating a world-class industrial infrastructure. IDCO has already built several industrial parks that are industry-specific, including the Plastic Park in Paradeep, the Aluminium Park in Angul, the Seafood Park in Deras, and the Electronics Park in Bhubaneswar.

These projects are all already finished and operational. These projects are luring investors to Odisha with their state-of-the-art infrastructure and affordable land prices. Almost 50% of the leasable space in the Seafood Park & Plastic Park has already been assigned to units. The Hyper data center is being built at the EMC Park by RBI, and additional projects of a similar nature are also in the works.

To provide start-up businesses with the required advice, technical support, and infrastructure, IDCO has finished the sophisticated IT Incubation Centre-cum-OHUB, which is spread across 3.57 Acres of land and has a total built-up size of 4 lakh square feet.
