How and When did you begin your blogging journey?

We were biology nerds before we got into food blogging. We both were in the second year of graduation, when one morning, Rituraj came up with the idea to create an Instagram account specifically to share our love for food. We both were thrilled to set out on our blogging journey as we always admired the variety of food Delhi has to offer. When we first began, we had never thought we would receive such a positive response. Even though we have over 40K followers now, the number doesn’t matter to us- it’s the incredible support and love that moves us.

Do you eat all the food you take photos of?

Absolutely! We taste everything that we upload on our account. Of course, we avoid wastage of food and overeating as we order as per our appetite and sometimes visit outlets with other fellow bloggers.

Initially, when we started going to bloggers meets, we had only 5k followers, and once a blogger said, you would never become a big blogger until you waste food like me, and we were disheartened listening to those words. But, we never gave up on our dreams and morals, and even though we have gained an enormous number of followers today, we still avoid wastage of food.

How much time and money do you spend on your food in a week?

We spend a lot of time on our blog, sometimes, it takes hours shooting videos or getting the perfect picture. We plan, create, and recreate the content until we feel content. We are always looking for ways to improve our food photography, videography as well as editing skills. On the whole, we spend almost 40% of our earnings on food and other blogging related investments.

What is unique about your blogging style or food which distinguishes you from other Delhi Food Bloggers?

We are continually trying to improve our content as per our audience’s choices. We are  always trying to stay updated with the latest trends, the newest restaurants, and events going on in Delhi. Everything that we post is our way of communicating with our audience. We believe that our food pictures and videos should be tempting enough for people to share and save. Another thing that makes us different is that we are willing to try new cuisines and share it on our Instagram. The food world is exciting, and we believe that our feed needs to keep up with that.

How has Covid-19 affected your blogging?

Undoubtedly, this pandemic has affected our work a lot as we could not step out for almost four months. We had to repost our old content for the first two months, but later we realized that we were losing many ardent followers, so we started uploading recipes. We didn’t get many good responses at first, but we kept uploading the recipes, and slowly it gauged our audience’s attention, and we even started growing at a much faster rate than before. We believe that nothing can stop you from achieving your dreams if you’re working hard for it.

What future or vision do you have for your food blog?

We have plans to become full-time bloggers and explore the food of every state of India and every country in the world. We will probably launch our YouTube channel super soon.
