Why be conventional always? Let us do something revolutionary. Let us bring about change. Let us be the change which we want to see around ourselves.
While we all are celebrating so many various days, have we ever just tried to move out of our house and tried to find who our next door neighbour is?
Have we tried to just take a moment out from our daily lives and bother slightly for the people who are around our house. Let us not forget, they are the ones who will come to our immediate rescue when we are in a soup.
If we consider an instance, all of a sudden some problem crops up in our homes, some emergency, and the ones who come forward to deliver us from the situation are our neighbours.
Why not take a day out of our hectic schedule and celebrate a day as #HAPPY NEIGHBOURS DAY? Post a picture with them and make them feel they are wanted, they are loved. Why not make them see their worth, as to how precious they are?
Once we start this revolutionary movement I can ensure it will move beyond just neighbours. It will move up to neighbouring countries, thereby leading to a healthy, harmonious relationship with them and all mankind can be bound with the string of love, compassion and empathy. Don’t you think, a mountainous problem can be cleared away in a whiff if we think deeply about it? A happy neighbourhood is a healthy neighbourhood, which will lead to a secure community and then a safe world to live in.
It can be far more peaceful to live among neighbours that like and respect each other, especially when they’re living in close proximity. Respectful neighbours are less likely to invade your space.
Good neighbours watch out for each other and their property. Living in a proactive neighbourhood can increase your family’s safety, as multiple sets of eyes and ears can help to prevent criminal activity and promote a safer area.
It’s really nice to be able to give the neighbours a heads-up that you’re going to be out-of-town, and be able to say “hey, can you keep an eye on our place?. That’s an added level of security to have real-live eyes and ears looking out for you and your property.
There’s the old cliché about neighbours and a borrowed cup of sugar. It really is convenient to have someone close by who can help you out when you need to finish dinner or lunch borrow a pinch of salt, green chillies, sugar etc.
Neighbourhood get-togethers can be a lot of fun and super convenient since everyone lives close by. Neighbourhood kids have other kids to play with and a safe environment to be active. We have some real fun with our neighbours.
Neighbours are often very supportive of each other’s family needs, especially where the kids are concerned. Good neighbours can be helpful for emergency childcare and generally keeping a lookout for safety. Our neighbours have also helped us out when needed.
Good neighbours can be especially helpful when you are away from home. They can keep an eye on your property, take in your mail, and take your pets for things like birds, dogs and the like.
Neighbours can be a source of good advice and are conveniently located when you need some guidance.
If you are ever laid up due to an injury or an illness, a kind next-door neighbour can be a great source of help during your recovery. They are close by for assistance when you need it most, in critical crisis.
So as a good citizen of #INDIA# I am requesting hon’ble PM Mr Narendra Modi ji to think over my suggestion and if it is # WORTHY FOR A HARMONIOUS SOCIETY #.
PLEASE PROMOTE # HAPPY NEIGHBOUR’S DAY#
