The IPL 2020 match no 25 RCB VS CSK went in favor of King Virat Kohli leading side RCB. The run-machine Kohli showed his master class and lead the team from the front and defeat three times IPL champion CSK by 37 runs.

After winning the toss, Virat Kohli chose to bat first as CSK batsmen didn’t perform well this season. From RCB, Devdutt Padikkal and Aaron Finch came to open, as the outstanding swing bowling performance by CSK pacer Finch couldn’t survive and sent back to the dugout in the third over.

However, Virat Kohli had to come in the third over of the power play. Captain Kohli led from the front with a majestic 90* (52) knock and showed his skill and peak fitness blend.

As CSK bowlers bowled well and got the early wicket of both Finch and AB de Villiers, RCB got under pressure. However, Kohli stands alone and fight for RCB.

RCB captain was involved in two half-century partnerships – one with opener Devdutt Padikkal (33 off 33 balls) and Shivam Dube (22 off 14 balls) for the fifth wicket and managed to set a good total of 169 runs.

After the master class knock from the Virat Kohli, the smile on Anushka Sharma‘s face was priceless. She cheered claps and gave flying kisses to Kohli for his outstanding knock against CSK.

However, from the CSK bowling department Deepak Chahar (1/10 in 3 overs), Shardul Thakur (2/40 in 4 overs) impressed, and as usual, Bravo (0/29 in three overs) being economical at the death.

While CSK chasing 170 runs, they couldn’t perform well with the bat and lose wickets at regular intervals. They could only manage to score 132 runs in limited 20 overs and lost the match from RCB.

However, RCB bowlers Chris Morris 3/19 (4), Washington Sundar 2/16 (3), and Isuru Udana1/30 (4) showed their class to stop CSK within 132 runs and made RCB a comprehensive 37 runs victory against CSK.

Virat Kohli became player of the match and placed his team at the top four in the points table with four wins out of 6 games.

On the other hand, CSK going through in a tough time this season and lost five matches out of seven. However, MS Dhoni was not happy with the performance and said, “We need to do something about it, can’t just keep turning up” after losing from RCB.
