Jindal Steel and Power Ltd have decided to take a step forward for building a self-reliant India. Chairman Naveen Jindal has called upon the youth of the country.

JSPL’s Managing Director VR Sharma in the independence day celebrations at Angul said JSPL through its Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) wing, i.e. JSPL Foundation has been offering scholarships for meritorious students.

He also added that “We are looking forward to supporting the local students to enrol themselves in coaching classes for all-India Civil Services and State Judiciary Services. We want 10-15 local educated youths of Angul to qualify in All India Services like IAS and IPS and Judiciary Services every year.”

Naveen Jindal, while addressing the employees of JSPL after unfurling the National Flag in Barbil, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ offers full scope for the enterprising youths to achieve the $5-trillion economy vision.

The foundation runs co-educational schools at Raigarh, Nalwa & Tamnar in Chhattisgarh, Angul in Odisha and Patratu in Jharkhand, where quality education is being imparted to over 10,000 students. Also, they provide specialised doctors and medical facilities.
