The grand Ram Mandir in Ayodha is all set for the foundation laying ceremony on 5th August by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The PM will be landing at Saket Mahavidyalaya in his helicopter and will directly go to the Janmabhoomi for the ceremony by road.

But India is not the only country celebrating this auspicious day. The iconic giant billboards in Times Square will be portraying images of Lord Ram and 3D portraits of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on the same day. The organizer describes this ceremony as one of the most historic events. The billboards in Times Square are one of the most famous tourist destinations in the world.

Jagdish Sewhani, the community leader and the President of the American Indian Public Affairs Committee stated that all the arrangements have been made here. We all will be celebrating the temple’s groundbreaking ceremony and it will be a historic moment in New York on that day.

He also said that many prominent billboards are being hired for the occasion of the giant Nasdaq screen. 17000 sqft LED display screen which is considered as the largest consecutive exteriors displays in the world with the highest resolutions will be portraying the images of Lord Ram and the temple.

On 5th August from 8 Am to 10 Pm, the images of the word ‘Jai Shree Ram’ in both English and Hindi along with Lord Ram’s image portraits and 3D portraits of the temple’s designs and architectures will be displayed across several billboards. Even the laying of the foundation stone by PM will also be displayed.

“The members of the Indian community will also gather at Times Square on August 5 to mark the celebration and distribute sweets. This is not a once in a lifetime or a once in a century event. This is an event that comes once in the life of mankind. We had to give it a befitting celebration and what better place than the iconic Times Square to commemorate the Ram Janma Bhoomi shilanyas” said Jagdish Sewhani
