News Portal’s ‘Dubious’ Subsidizing to Assault Foreign Strengths for Disparaging India: Sambit Patra

Seizing on the affirmed questionable foreign funding of a news portal, the BJP claimed that “anti-India” components in association with outside powers are part of a trick to disparage the nation and target the NaMo government.

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra while addressing a press conference at BJP India headquarters, New Delhi, cited media reports almost the Enforcement Directorate probe into the portal, Newsclick, and said that it received FDI of Rs 9.59 crore and foreign funding of another Rs 28.46 crore to questionable purposes.

“Money was redirected to different individuals, including activist Gautam Navlakha, and charged within the Bhima Koregaon case,” he affirmed, saying this was a “price tag” to instigate anti-India opinions, “abuse” Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and do purposeful publicity for foreign forces. “Anti-India forces are doing this conspiracy in association with foreign powers,” he said, affirming that the portal wore the mask of a media house to disparage India. A few mainstream politicians of India and foreign strengths are also with such so-called portals.

Patra claimed that at whatever point any “good” thing happens within the country, be it the COVID-19 inoculation approach or the Central Vista project, a few people targeted it. He alleged that the incident highlights the part of foreign financing and the foreign trick behind such campaigns to disparage India.

The Central Vista venture has gotten gestures from courts but a few individuals still went ahead with their agenda in an “adamant” way to disparage India, he said. Since Modi got to be prime minister, he has been a thorn in the flesh of some leaders not as it were here but too of remote strengths, Patra claimed.
