The state election commission has released a new voter list that includes up to 5,51,237 new electors. Similarly, during the special summary revision of electoral rolls prepared from October 27 to November 23, a total of 18,7405 voters were removed from the list.
According to a statement from Odisha’s chief electoral officer, Khurda district has added up to 45,398 new voters, while Cuttack has added 44,732 new voters to take second place. In the amended list, Ganjam gained 39,297 new voters and maintained its third-place ranking.
In the Bargarh district, a maximum of 27,412 voters have been removed from the list. The district of Jajpur has the second-highest number of electors removed from the voter list, with 16,907 electors removed from the list; Bolangir comes in third place.
