Through a video conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lay the groundwork for a number of infrastructure projects, including the construction of an administration building at the Central University of Odisha (CUO) in the Koraput area. The CUO projects, which include the construction of its administrative structure, would come with a total cost of Rs 129 crore to complete.
Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof. Chakradhar Tripathi and Kalahandi Lok Sabha member Basant Kumar Panda attended the online event, which was hosted at the CUO campus in Sunabeda. The prime minister inaugurated and set the cornerstone for a number of infrastructure projects at federally sponsored universities under the Department of Higher Education via remote means. An event took place at the CUO while Modi was in Jammu. On this occasion, a physical gathering was scheduled on campus.
The occasion was graced by MP Basant Kumar Panda, University Registrar Prof. Narasing Charan Panda, and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chakradhar Tripathi. Speaking on the occasion, Panda thanked the PM for project approval and congratulated the university fraternity. He predicted that the University would have greater success in the future during the Amritkaal period. The attainment of the Inidan ethos in education is the purpose of NEP-2020. He pushed the kids to promise to use their knowledge to preserve the country’s integrity and togetherness.
The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was acknowledged by the Vice Chancellor for his ongoing contributions to the University’s advancement. According to him, approval has been given for the construction of a number of structures, including two academic buildings, an administrative building, a library building, and two dorms for boys and girls. He noted that a number of initiatives, including the creation of a Charkha Center, are being prepared.
