PM Narendra Modi has acknowledged a letter from Member of Parliament and BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, wherein he had sought a CBI inquiry into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
In a tweet, Swamy shared a copy of the letter which he received from Prime Minister Modi acknowledging his concern.
Further Swamy tweeted that those who wanted a CBI inquiry into the Sushant ‘s suicide case should request MPs of their constituencies to write to PM demanding the same.
“All those who want CBI inquiry into the circumstances leading to Sushant unnatural death should ask their constituency MPs to write, like me, to PM asking for a CBI inquiry,” wrote Swamy on his twitter handle.
Sushant was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14. while the post-mortem report has declared that the actor died due t asphyxia, many are still speculating foul play in the circumstances leading o his death.
As part of the ongoing investigation, the Mumbai Police has so far recorded statements of 40 people. They have now summoned Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut for interrogation.
