India is under the threat of Omicron with cases increasing day by day. Moreover, Odisha has also reported Omicron cases with its tally at 4. Thereby, the Central Government of India as well as the State Government of Odisha have measured strict guidelines to tackle the growth of daily COVID cases. However, students of Ravensahw University seems to be least bothered about their lives and COVID rules.
Hundreds of students of Ravenshaw University on Thursday night gathered on the campus for revelry on the concluding day of the annual athletic meet. They were seen hooting, dancing and merry making as if there is no COVID in Cuttack.
DCP (Cuttack) Prateek Singh told a news outlet that the police will take action and issue a showcause notice to the varsity. The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) is yet to comment on the matter.
