Actress Rhea Chakraborty had been accused of administering Cannabidiol oil ( CBD oil) to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The scene came into the picture when Rhea’s WhatsApp was accessed by Times Now where she also talked about several other drugs such as MDMA and Marijuana.

“USE 4 DROPS IN COFFEE, TEA OR WATER AND LET HIM SIP IT. GIVE IT 30-40 MINUTES FOR IT TO KICK IN” AS TEXTED BY JAYA SAHA TO RHEA.

CBD Oil has medicinal properties and is used for its pain-relieving effects, reducing anxiety and depression. As per Harvard research, CBD is a component of Marijuana and it does not cause high.

“In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential…. To date, there is no evidence of public health-related problems associated with the use of pure CBD,” says World Health Organization.

However to this allegations, Ankit Acharya said, “I have never seen Sushant taking drugs when I was with him. He was very much concerned about his health.”

Senior advocate Vikas Singh told ETimes, “We had said in the FIR that Sushant was being over drugged but what we meant then was prescription drug. If you have a mental issue and you are prescribed drugs and are given an overdose of that, we thought that was happening because we were all kept in the dark.

We didn’t know what all was being said to him but now this looks like hard drugs. This is actually the drug in the normal sense that we understand. This has got the narcotics angle as well, definitely proves abetment to suicide more convincingly; it is definitely a step in that direction to prove abetment to suicide or even murder.”

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday registered an NDPS case against her and two others on the basis of an ED request to probe the drug angle in the death case.
