At the Swadeshi Mela Indian American Trade Fair, which was put on by the DTribals Foundation in conjunction with the Indian Embassy in Chicago, Shallu Jindal, the chairperson of the JSP Foundation, was presented with the International Woman of the Year Award. She received this honor for her exceptional commitment to social development, which had a positive influence on 10 million people in rural and tribal areas of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and all throughout India. Somnath Ghosh, Consul General of the Indian Embassy in Chicago, attended the program’s opening ceremony as the chief guest.
Jindal expressed her thanks and reaffirmed her commitment to improving the standard of living for Indians upon collecting this distinguished award. “I am really honored to receive this honor, which is a testimonial to the Team JSP Foundation’s teamwork. We are still dedicated to giving the disadvantaged and socially vulnerable individuals in our nation and across the world a better, more inclusive future. This acknowledgement makes us more determined to keep fighting diligently for the underprivileged and disadvantaged.
Specifically in Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, and other different regions of India, Jindal has consistently supported numerous initiatives and programs that span across various social causes, including quality education, healthcare, skill development, and women’s empowerment and social inclusion. Jindal is the Chairperson of JSP Foundation.
