On the eve of the Budget session, the Centre will have an all-party meeting on Monday, according to knowledgeable sources. Just before the session’s start on Tuesday, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi called the traditional meeting.In order to ensure that the session runs smoothly, the government is likely to contact all of the parties, particularly the Congress, Trinamool Congress, and other opposition parties. The economic survey for 2022–2023 will be submitted in Parliament after President Droupadi Murmu addresses both Houses of Parliament in the Central Hall.Nirmala Sitharaman, the finance minister, will deliver the 2023–24 Union Budget on Wednesday.
The session’s first half will run from Tuesday until February 13. Beginning on March 13, the second phase will end on April 6.
