1, 542 New PACS & LAMPCS To Get Rs 5 Lakh Seed Money

1542 new Primary Agricultural Cooperatives (PACS) and Large Tribal Multipurpose Cooperative Societies (LAMPCS) have been formed by the Odisha government. Through teamwork, these cooperatives seek to support farmers and other marginalized communities. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved the establishment of these recently established organizations. The state government would provide each of the 1542 PACS and LAMPCS Rs 5 lakh in seed money to help with their debut.

It is anticipated that the project would improve Odisha’s cooperative sector, which will eventually help farmers and advance rural development. A plan to provide Rs 76.80 crores in capital for these new cooperatives has been authorized by the chief minister. It is expected that this investment would improve the state’s cooperative sector’s overall efficacy. The state government’s initiatives to foster cooperative farming and give underprivileged people financial assistance include the establishment of these PACS and LAMPCS.
