The 100-bed Covid Hospital will be operational in the Golbazar area of Sambalpur. It will be operational at Sparsh City Hospital. It will be managed by Bargarh Development Hospital. The information was given by Health Minister Naba Das after a review meeting held at the District General Hospital in Sambalpur.
It will take effect between June 15 and 20. The health minister said the cost would be allocated by the MCL. Soon, another Covid Hospital will be set up by JSPL in Anugul. A review meeting was held today in the conference room of the Sambalpur CDMO office. In addition, 30 black fungus patients have been identified in the state and three have died, the minister said.
Black fungus medicine is now under the control of the central government. He said 100 injections had been received in the state and 30 had been given to VIMSAR. “The state government is preparing for the third wave,” he said. Child care department will be opened in future. Today’s meeting was attended by the Chief of Vikas Hospital, Sambalpur District Commissioner, Sambalpur SP Chief.
