On March 8, in honor of Mahashivratri, a 123-foot-tall statue of Lord Shiva is scheduled to be dedicated in the Jajpur district of Odisha, according to officials. They further mentioned that the monument is being constructed as part of the Baraha Khetra development project close to the Baitarani River and the Barahanath Temple.
According to a project official, visitors will be able to access the Lord Shiva statue via a lift or set of stairs and take in a panoramic view of the Baitarani riverfront. The New Delhi-based private art organization is the one that built the statue.
