Deputy Prime Minister Pravati Parida stated that up to 2,000 Subhadra Yojana applications were turned down because the bank account information was inaccurate.
As of Tuesday night, there were over 97,000 pending Subhadra Yojana applications; however, all of them had been cleared, except 2,000 that were attributed to bank account issues. According to Parida, the September 17 instalment will be distributed to all qualifying recipients who have applied or plan to apply.
25.11 lakh beneficiaries received the first installment of Rs1,250.55 crores from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. To achieve the government’s pre-election pledge to empower women, the program seeks to assist over one crore women in Odisha.
