25 Odisha students will travel to Maharashtra under the Union education ministry’s Ek Bharat-Shreshta Bharat program. Through pairing, the purpose of this expedition is to carry out cultural exchange programs between two countries.
According to the reports, the Center was established to spread the language and culture of two paired states through a variety of activities on October 31, 2015. Odisha has been linked to Maharashtra by the ministry in this process.
The reports further added that 25 students and two teachers from the GIET University, Gunupur, in Rayagada district will visit Maharashtra this time. They will remain in Mumbai’s Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, an engineering college. Maharashtra and Odisha have a lot in common, which contributes to the geographical diversity between these two states. Both states have a long coastline, and their food preferences are unashamedly close to the western and easternmost states.
The purpose of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat scheme is to enhance community interaction and promote mutual understanding among people from different stateUTs by using the concept of stateUT pairing. The states are attempting to foster a strong and structured cultural link in areas such as language learning, religion, traditions, music, tourism and cuisine, sports, and sharing of best practices.
