Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the three-month-long eco-retreat and Union Tourism Minister Prahllad Singh Patel and Union Petroleum and Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan through video conferencing.
Now tourists can avail of the eco-retreat facilities at all the five- Hirakud, Satkosia, Bhitarkanika, Daringbadi, and Konark till 28th February. CM stated that the Eco retreat model’s success manifests from the Eco Retreats’ ecstatic acknowledgment across different areas – Bhitarkanika, Daringbadi, Hirakud, Konark, and Satkosia. Like last year, this year also Eco retreat will encourage the tourists to explore the scenic beauty of all these places.
Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted the state’s tourism potentials and expected that such a glamping event would unlock the state’s tourism potentials. OTDC chairperson Srimayee Mishra and Sambalpur MLA Jayanaran Mishra were also presented in the video conferencing.
The Satkosia inaugural was graced by Badamba MLA Debi Prasad Mishra, Cuttack Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani, and Angul DFO K. Ramaswami.
Around 145 cottages of different categories have been put up in five locations this year. The additional features are Ramchandi, including sea surfing, parasailing, e-scooter, open-air restaurant, beach shack, etc.
