The government owned oil marketing company has reduced cooking gas prices. The price of LPG has been reduced by Rs 10 per cylinder. The low price will take effect on Thursday, April 1st. While LPG prices have fallen, there are now chances that petrol-diesel prices could fall. The oil company plans to reduce petrol and diesel prices. According to the information obtained, the price of diesel is likely to be lower than that of petrol.
The Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), India’s largest fuel-injected retailer, has announced on Wednesday that it will reduce the price of LPG cylinders. The company said in a statement, “The price of domestic LPG cylinders has been reduced by Rs 10 per cylinder to reassure domestic LPG customers.” In Delhi, the price of LPG per cylinder has been reduced from Rs 819 to Rs 809 per cylinder. This low price will take effect from April 1. ‘
According to national media reports, petrol and diesel could be cheaper. This is because international oil prices are unlikely to rise immediately. According to the IOCL, the price of crude oil and petroleum products in the international market has come down in view of the escalating corona cases in Europe and Asia and the side effects of vaccination. This suggests that petrol and diesel prices could fall soon.
Recently, petrol and diesel prices have risen steadily. Petrol and diesel prices have not risen since February 26 after five state assembly elections were announced. Oil prices have not risen for 25 days, but have fallen three times since March 26.
