On the occasion of the 24th death anniversary of odisha’s former Chief minister Shri Biju Pattnaik, Dhenkanal conscious citizen forum organized an event at Gopabandhu Town Hall, Dhenkanal in which English book kits were distributed for small children. The event was attended by Dhenkanal MP Shri Mahesh Sahoo as chief guest and Shri Akshay Mohanty as chief Speaker. Mr. Pankaj Nayak, vice-president of the organization chaired the event.
Mr. Bharat Kumar Das, secretary of Dhenkanal conscious citizen forum said, ” our organization is now three years old, we had done a lot of work from our organization like blood donation, sapling plantation, blanket distribution and providing food and mask to people during lockdown. This year we had felicitated meritorious students of different school and many students from village area are deprived of reading English books, so we have planned to distribute English book kit to students at different blocks and villages.” The event was organized while strictly adhering to the covid-19 guidelines, all the members and invited guests maintained proper social distancing and wore masks.
The members and office bearers of Hindol, Gondia, kamakshyanagar, Sadar block, Women wing and Dhenkanal municipality were present there and took the kits from honorable MP to distribute them to small children in their locality.
