The famous pizza outlet Domino’s India has been the victim of cyber attack. This is according to Alon Gaal, founder of Israel Cyber Crime Intelligence. He said the hackers had access to Domains India’s 13 TB internal data. It contains data related to IT, legal, finance and marketing, including employee data.
According to hackers, a lot of data has been found on the basis of 14 crore order details. Which includes customer phone numbers, email IDs, delivery addresses, payment details and credit card details.
The list of victims of hacking includes customers who ordered from the Domino’s India app. Now hackers want to sell the data to a vendor. They have demanded Rs 4 crore for this. They have created a search portal that can provide data related information. The data is being sold on the Dark Web. Which is Cyber Scammers’ largest platform. However, no information has been provided by Domino’s India about the data leak.
According to the Computer Emergency Response Team, India has been hit by 300 times more cyber attacks than ever before. In 2017, there were 36 cyberattacks, and in 2020, the number was 11,54,208.
