With the rising cases of COVID-19 in Odisha, the State Government today announced a weekend shutdown in all urban areas of the State.
Special Relief Commissioner cum Additional Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena informed today that weekend shutdown on Saturday and Sunday will be imposed in all urban areas of the State.
Pradeep Jena further added that all the 10 districts bordering Chhattisgarh already have a weekend shutdown. Now all the other remaining 20 districts will have weekend shutdown from April 23 (Friday) night onward.
