The value of the rupee rises against dollar, sensex continues to be in green

The stock market continues to be among the green signals, even as the epidemic continues to plague the country. On the last day of the week, the Bombay Stock Exchange’s Sensex rose 220 points to 49,169.14. The Sensex rose 468 points to 49,417 in the morning, at around 9 am. At the end of the trading session, the BSE Sensex rose 256.71 points to close at 49,206.

Similarly, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange rose 92 points to 14,816.95. During the trading session, the Nifty increased by 139 points to 14,873.05. At the end of the trading session, the Nifty rose 98.35 points to close at 14,873.15.

All sectors except the PSU sector were green. Shares such as HDFC, Bajaj Financing, M & M, NTPC, Bharti Airtel, Ultratech and others have increased. Shares of Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Finance, Infosys, Kotak Mahindra and ICICI Bank have also declined.

The value of the rupee rose against the dollar on Friday. The rupee rose 13 paise to 73.63 paise. The rupee closed at 73.76 against the dollar last Thursday.
