The state Congress committee has demanded that the state government should provide Rs 6,000 in monthly financial assistance to the unemployed poor and low-income families during the Covid 19 pandemic. A unanimous resolution was also passed by the Congress today. In addition, the Congress has asked the state government to issue a white paper on all issues related to the management of vaccinations.
A virtual meeting chaired by PCC president Niranjan Patnaik today reviewed the state’s corona status and organizational activities in the presence of Odisha in-charge A Chelakumar and co-in-charge Rudra Raju. The meeting was attended by senior Congress leaders and briefed them on the role of the Congress in protecting the people of Odisha from the Covid 19 virus. The Congress has provided free ambulance services in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Baleshwar, Balangir, Nuapadha and Paradeep.
