According to a formal press release, Secretary to the CM (5T) V K Pandian visited the district of Jajpur at the order of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to assess the status of several development projects there and to address public complaints. In accordance with the press release, Pandian spoke about the construction of the Mahabinayak Temple in Badachana and the Baruneswar Temple in Binjharpur. He engaged in discussions about these projects with Sebayats, trustee members, and members of the general public to discuss how to improve the temples’ facilities for visitors and pilgrims while also developing them. He gave the district administration the order to create a development master plan.
At a cost of Rs 956 Cr, the current Mega Piped Water Supply Projects in Badachana, Binjharpur, Dasarathpur, Dharmasala, Rasulpur, and Jajpur Block were assessed by Pandian. These initiatives will deliver water to all of the blocks’ residences. Phase-by-phase operationalization of the projects will begin around December 2023. He gave the relevant officials instructions to guarantee prompt completion and high-quality services.
In-stream Storage Structures across the Kochila and Baitarani Rivers, which cost Rs. 373 Crores, and Mega Lift Irrigation projects, which cost Rs. 223 Crore, were also discussed. By September 2025, these projects will be finished. He requested that the appropriate personnel make sure that project deadlines are followed.
