Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has sanctioned Rs 2.49 crore for the reconstruction of the Bahanaga High School in Balasore district under the 5T initiative.
The amount has been sanctioned from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
Worth mentioning, local people and the teachers of Bahanaga High School had voluntarily played a key role in the rescue and relief operation in the aftermath of the deadly triple-train collision at the Bahanaga Bazar railway station.
In appreciation of their efforts, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik directed for inclusion Bahanaga High School under the 5T initiative.
Under instructions of the Chief Minister 5T Secretary VK Pandian had detailed discussions with the students, teachers, school managing committee members of the Bahanaga High School and people’s representatives and obtained their opinion.
