Customers of TPSODL have been strongly cautioned against dishonest bill collectors. In the Malkangiri division, it was recently discovered that Animesh Biswas was collecting bills illegally using a phony mobile point-of-sale device. Important details including customer numbers and the TPSODL logo were missing from these receipts.
To protect the validity of receipts, TPSODL has recommended consumers to utilize approved payment methods. The DISCOM recommended consumers to check for authorization from the bill collector because this information is accessible with bill collectors, such as availability of consumer number, overdue payments, due date, etc.
“If anything, suspicious found, consumer can immediately reach out to 24*7 Toll-Free Helpline at 1800-345-6797/1912 of TPSODL. It is important to report any unsanctioned bill collection attempts without valid TPSODL receipts. Stay vigilant and protect your payments,” TPSODL stated.
