Today in Bhubaneswar, Altigreen, India’s premier manufacturer of commercial electric vehicles, opened its first ever retail experience centre. Altigreen chose Jyote as its partner since it is one of the most reputable and well-established companies in the field. Altigreen’s lineup of EV delivery trucks will be on display at the experience centre, dubbed “Altigreen Showroom – Jyote.”

The new Altigreen Showroom – Jyote may be found in Bhubaneswar at the address Puri Bypass Road.

Jyote Motors was founded in 1996 and has since become the most well-known network of automotive dealerships in Odisha. They pride themselves on providing excellent service, a wide selection of vehicles, prompt delivery, and a single point of contact for all of their customers’ needs. Audi, Maruti Suzuki Arena, NEXA, TVS two-wheelers, Suzuki Motorcycles, Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, and a succession of tech-enabled service stations are just a few of the well-known auto-brands in our stable. Jyote Motors has added another impressive achievement—Altigreen—to its list of accomplishments.

Dr. Amitabh Saran, CEO & Founder of Altigreen, officially opened the Altigreen Retail Experience Centre in Bhubaneswar. The opening of this retail dealership is part of Altigreen’s ongoing effort to provide customers with cutting-edge facilities and services. The dealership’s decor is carefully curated to make everyone who comes through its doors feel at home, from autorickshaw workers and shopkeepers to those from more affluent backgrounds. Altigreen has spared no effort to ensure that the dealership exemplifies the company’s commitment to putting customers first and earning their confidence via open communication.

Subsidies for the acquisition of two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers EVs have been increased as a result of a recent amendment to the Odisha Electric Vehicle Policy, 2021.
To combat air pollution from cars, the state drafted an EV strategy in 2021 with the goal of having 20% of its vehicles run on electricity by the end of 2025.
When compared to the policy goal, however, the 4.48 percent of electric cars that had been registered by the end of 2022 was far from adequate.

An electric four-wheeler can get a subsidy from the state of Rs 10,000 per kilowatt hour, up to a maximum of Rs 1.5 lakh.
Previously, there was a fixed Rs 50,000 bonus.
A fixed subsidy of Rs 30,000 would be provided by the government for three-wheeled vehicles.

“We are happy to partner with Jyote Motors in Bhubaneswar and deliver world-class products in multiple vehicle categories,” stated Dr. Amitabh Saran, Founder and CEO of Altigreen. By opening a retail experience centre in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, we demonstrate our dedication to establishing a robust statewide network to facilitate the switch from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to electric vehicles (EVs). We are pleased to be serving the growing interest among Indian customers, particularly the business community, in environmentally responsible modes of transportation. To provide the most efficient and environmentally friendly last-mile transportation options, we are making substantial investments to bolster our manufacturing and research and development capabilities and build out a strong pan-India distribution network.
“We are extremely pleased to partner with Altigreen to bring about the EV revolution in Odisha,” stated Devjyoti Patnaik, Managing Director of Jyote Motors. Using original thinking and technological advancement to get an edge in the local and regional market is central to our mission as a reputable car dealer. We’re constantly on our toes because of the fast-paced nature of our industry (wheel sales). We’re dedicated to bringing the finest in electric mobility to the people of Odisha, and with Altigreen by our side, we can finally make that a reality.
