The Annual Cultural Festival of Synergy Group of Institutions, Dhenkanal, ‘Synfest 2024’, was inaugurated on Friday at its college premises near Kantanali bypass, Dhenkanal. Shri Binod Dash, Chairman and Managing Trustee, and Dr. Prufulla Dhal, GM and State Head of Sparsh Social Foundation, CSR and Sustainability, JK Paper Mill, Odisha, attended the event as the honorable guests. Trustee Ak Sahu, Dr. Itishree Mohanty (Principal, Synergy Institute of Engineering and Technology), Professor SK Nayak (Principal, Synergy School of Engineering), Dr. Matru Prasad Dash (Principal, Synergy School of Science and Management), Mrs. Kalpana Prusty (Principal, Synergy School of Nursing), Dr. Jayashree Singh ( Convenor, Synfest 2024) and Student Cultural Secretary Bighneswar Jena were present on the stage.
The two-day cultural extravaganza is hosted with great pomp and joy. The whole campus was decked-up with illuminating and colorful lights for the fest. On Day one inaugural function, Mountaineer Bibharani Patra was felicitated by the esteemed guests. Students were also given away prizes for their achievements in different events.
Dr. Jayashree Singh, Convenor of Synfest 2024, said, “Synfest 2024 is unique because there are four wings of students who have participated in more than 94 events. This time employee awards were given by the Chairman and Managing Trustee for the best performance of the staff. The students from all the wings worked very hard along with the staff members to make Synfest 2024 memorable. On the second day of the fest, we have a star night. I hope all of us will enjoy it a lot.”
