West Bengal CM Banerjee Sustains ‘Major Injury’: TMC

On Thursday, TMC informed that West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has suffered a major injury in an accident.

Recently West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banarjee has received a serious injury  on her forehead and nose on Thursday evening  sources said. She has been taken to woodburn ward  of public-run SSKM  hospital after she fell at home after returning from a political programme in Gariahat, Trinamool sources told ET. The party did not disclose the cause of her injury, but according to information obtained by India Today TV, the West Bengal Chief Minister sustained the injury at her residence. According to sources In June of last year, Mamata Banerjee experienced a leg injury when her helicopter had to make an emergency landing at Sevoke airbase near Siliguri due to adverse weather conditions. She suffered ligament injuries to her left knee and hip joints. Several months later, in September, she encountered another injury to her left leg while traveling in Spain. Subsequently, the Chief Minister revealed that her injured leg had developed an infection.
