The state government is considering giving Lord Jagannath’s Mahaprasad to pilgrims for free after they receive darshan of the Holy Trinity at Srimandir, according to disha’s Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan. The government did not, however, specify when the devotees will receive their free Mahaprasad. Harichandan went on to say that information regarding the different rites performed at the Jagannath Temple will be available at a Bhyakhyana Kendra (Interpretation Center) that will be established in Puri. It will encourage believers to follow the Jagannath tradition.

Previous rumors claimed that Puri Jagannath Temple will use artificial intelligence (AI) to manage crowds. Fourteen cameras will be located both inside and outside the shrine.
