Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi spoke with distinguished Padma Shri recipients Sudarshan Sahoo, Pramod Bhagat, Chaturbhuja Meher, and Dr. Jitendra Haripal. The State government established an honorarium pension of Rs 30,000 for each Padma Shri laureate in recognition of their outstanding efforts.They discussed strategies for promoting and conserving Odisha’s rich cultural legacy.
Majhi stated, “I was deeply humbled by their appreciation for this initiative, which acknowledges their dedication and achievements. I greatly value the insightful suggestions shared by these luminaries and reaffirm my commitment to advancing our glorious traditions and culture.”Majhi appealed to the people of Odisha to honour the cultural icons, which is a top priority for the government.”
