The district government of Cuttack has said that an auction will be used to distribute plots for the yearly Bali Yatra fair. The Additional District Magistrate (ADM) told reporters at a news conference that the application forms will be available for Rs 100 at Barabati Palace in Cuttack starting tomorrow and ending on October 9. An initial registration cost of Rs 5,000 per plot is required, and an individual or organization may apply for a maximum of three plots.
An auction will be performed to choose the allottee if more than one application is received for a particular plot. The Additional District Magistrate (ADM) stated during a news conference that the Bali Yatra celebration will only take place on the lower ground; no activities are planned on the higher ground, commonly known as Killa Maidan.
The government has already made the decision to solely use the lower ground for the trade show. Parking will be available on the upper ground floor.
