Susant Pujari is the founder and Managing Director of Benzfab Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a Bhubaneswar-headquartered IT system integrator that has spent nearly three decades quietly reshaping how large institutions in Eastern India connect, communicate and secure their operations. An engineering graduate of the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, and an MBA holder Goa Institute of Management, Pujari built his career at the intersection of two disciplines that rarely sit together comfortably, deep technical grounding and sharp business acumen, and it is that combination that has come to define the company he leads. Benzfab traces its origins to 1999, a time when Indian enterprises still thought of voice, data and video as three separate streams requiring three separate systems. Pujari’s early years in the industry were shaped by that analog, voice-first world, but as networking technology matured, he steered the company towards what the industry now calls IP convergence, the practice of carrying voice, data and video over a single unified network. That shift from fragmented communication to integrated infrastructure has remained the through line of his career, and that is how Benzfab today counts the Indian Railways, Ports, State and Central Government Departments, Large Corporates and CPSUs amongst its clients, where reliability is non-negotiable and downtime is never an option. Under Pujari, Benzfab’s portfolio has grown to span VoIP and SIP telephony, wired and wireless data networking, surveillance systems, satellite communication and, more recently, IoT, artificial intelligence and cloud deployment, all delivered through an ISO-certified, end-to-end system integration model that takes a client from requirement study and network design through equipment supply, installation and after-sales support. Colleagues and industry observers describe him less as a conventional company head and more as a technologist who happens to run a business, someone who has kept Benzfab deliberately independent by building software solutions in-house rather than outsourcing them, a choice that keeps the company nimble and lets it respond to client problems without waiting on third-party vendors. That instinct for self-reliance runs alongside a broader conviction Pujari has spoken about publicly, that technology’s real value lies beyond the balance sheet, particularly in what it can do for education and healthcare access in India. As Benzfab looks ahead, Pujari has framed the company’s next phase around bringing its solutions closer to end users, reducing the friction and travel that large-scale IT deployment traditionally demands, while continuing to fold emerging technologies into the same converged, client-first framework that has carried the company from its analog beginnings to its current position as one of Eastern India’s established names in digital transformation.
