Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced projects worth Rs 68 crore for the development of Pipili and Delanga areas in the Puri district through a video conference.
While inaugurating the projects CM Patnaik communicated with the people of the area and announced that as a part of the centenary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi’s first visit to Odisha in 1921, the Odisha Government will establish a model school at Beraboi in Delanga block.

CM also announced that a memorial on Mahatma Gandhi will also be built up at Beraboli as Gandhi toured the area in 1983 to attend an exhibition on agriculture.
CM further announced projects related to roads, irrigation, stadium, bridges, and bus stand in the two places. He said that the state government’s main focus has always been to make development in the rural areas and also to improve the living standard of the farmers and women.

Talking about the struggle of farmers during the lockdown CM appraised their hard work as the farmers went ahead with the cultivation without flinching the lockdown or the pandemic due to which the economy of Odisha maintained successfully.
CM Patnaik also recalled the participation of former Pipili MLA late Maharathy in the development of the Pipili-Delanga area for the last 30 years.

Lok Seva Bhavan, deputy chairperson of the State Planning Board Sanjay Dasburma who was also a part of the program stated that safe drinking water will be available to the people of the rural areas of Puri district with the fulfillment of projects announced by the Chief Minister.

All people’s representatives from Puri district and senior officials attended the program conducted by 5T secretary VK Pandian.
