Twitter once again starts the verified process in six categories

The short messaging platform Twitter has recently changed its blue tick mark or verified policy. In addition, Twitter has re-verified the process in six categories since Thursday.

These 6 categories are, government and company; Brands and organizations; Media organizations and journalists; Entertainment, sports and gaming. People in this category can apply for verification under the new policy. As a rule, they can get the blue tick. This category verification process was recently banned by Twitter. By the end of this year, Twitter aims to add even more categories, such as scientists, academics and saints.

It is reported that in the next few weeks, all Twitter users’ tabs will start showing new checks directly.

If the user applies for verification, it will automatically show a blue tick mark or verified in the user’s profile. It is expected that an email will be sent to the user within a few days of verification. If there is a mistake in the application process, one can reapply after 30 days as per the rules.

Notably, the six categories in which many users have already been verified, they are all well-known and popular. Under the new rules, Twitter users will be given a verified or blue mark if they meet the required criteria, even if they are not so popular. However, this popular micro-blogging platform will remove the blue mark if it violates Twitter rules after verification.
