As India marches into the winter season, temperatures in several places in Odisha has drastically dropped down making the atmosphere cooler. There are cold waves at night across 15 places in Odisha and temperatures have significantly dropped down to below 15 degrees Celcius.
Daringibadi was coldest at 8 degrees Celsius, followed by Phulbani (8.5), Koraput (12), Titlagarh (12.3), Jharsuguda (12.4), Bhawanipatna (12.5), Keonjhar (12.6), Sundargarh (13), Bolangir (13), Sonepur (13.2), Hirakud (13.4), Chandbali (14), Sambalpur (14.2), Angul and Baripada (14.6 each).

While Temperatures at Bhubaneshwar and Cuttack were recorded at 15.6 and 15.2 Degree Celcius. However, the cold atmospheric weather is not going to last long. According to the Bhubaneshwar Meteorological Centre, temperatures will rise to 3 to 4 Degree Celcius due to the low pressure and cyclonic situation.
