Entrepreneurs are the true pillars of any growth story of a nation, whichever country has become emerged as the progressive states of Nation in all fronts is because of the abundant flow of entrepreneurship. Odisha has a long history of practicing true business spirit. Here is a success story that corroborates its rich legacy. The creative entrepreneur is himself Mr. Sibabrata Rout founder and CEO of Amarnath Pest Management Technology. He has been a pioneer in bringing transformations in the pest control services in the state of Odisha.
They provide all varieties of pest management services to all residential, commercial, and industrial clients throughout the entire state of Odisha. The control of termites, cockroaches, rodents, mosquitoes, bedbugs, ants, wasps, spiders, flies, etc. are their key services. The company, which serves more than 300 commercial and 3,000 residential clients, employs about 80 pest experts. Being a member of the Indian Pest Control Association (IPCA), ISO 9001-2015, MSME, and NSIC has allowed the business to improve the quality of its services even more.
In 2010, Amarnath Pest Management Technology (APMT) launched its business with just two employees. In the beginning, they just had a few homes and one or two commercial customers. They added consumers from all industries over time thanks to the high quality of service and positive customer relationships. The unrivalled service quality, quick resolution of customer issues, and warranty customers receive from APMT have been the company’s USPs. APMT has proven helpful in resolving pest problems in both typical and emergency scenarios. As instructed by the district collector, they disinfected the Shramik Trains at Nirgundi Station and the TMCs (Temporary Medical Centers) in the Cuttack district. The excellence in the pest control service earned them the National MSME Award 2022 felicitated by the Hon’ble PM of India Sri Narendra Modi.
Mr. Rout stated, the moment he received the National MSME Award from hon’ble PM Sri Narendra Modi, he felt elated, speechless, and overwhelmed. He felt the positive energy and leadership persona of the PM transpired in him which energized him to achieve the bigger entrepreneurial goal of his life. Overall that’s an unforgettable experience which cannot be explained in words.
He also adds that thirteen years down the line by 2036 which also marks the centenary year of Odisha as a state, he wishes to spread the pest control service business in every part of Odisha and establish APMT as an every household brand that can help the people to solve their pest issues of any complexity. He would also like to spread awareness about the importance of using pest control services amongst the people. Apart from a pest control service business he has the vision to establish a manufacturing unit to produce pest control and household chemicals, and a training and development center to provide skill development training to the youth enabling them to earn their livelihood.
By 2047 when India would be celebrating its 100 years of independence, he would like to spread the wings and establish APMT in most parts of the country. In short he envisions that APMT could be a national brand in the pest control business by the year 2047.
The vision connects with the growth of the pest control industry on the one hand and employment generation for about 1000 people on the other.
Mr. Rout is a true believer in Siridi Sai Baba, Lord Jagannath, Lord Dhabaleswar, and Maa Gayatri. From his childhood, he was attracted to spirituality and spent about six months at All World Gayatri Parivar (AWGP) as well. That shaped him as a person who worships and believes in God.
He would like to register a charitable trust in the name of Amarnath Charitable Trust (ACT) in near future and carry out social work through the trust. The social works would include plantation, spiritual education for children, social reformation activities to achieve the mission of ACT i.e. Expressing Humanity’ in true sense.
Lastly, he advised all the youth that they must set a goal in their life and do whatever is needed to achieve it. When a goal is set, they will be committed to a target and that will inspire them to work hard to achieve it at any cost and never give up midway. People who do not have a dream/goal, don’t have much in their lives. And they must take special care to shape their character, believe in the timing of God and respect their parents and elders.
