Last year when the first wave of Coronavirus hit the country devastating the condition of common people and poor, Ollywood star Sabyasachi Mishra made sure to help them in every possible way.
Yet again the actor has come out with an initiative to reach out to Covid-19 positive patients to meet their emergency requirements. While in a video release, the actor shared that the current scenario of Covid second surge is way worse than the first wave inside and outside Odisha. A lot of people are suffering and patients are surviving without getting any medical assistance. In the past few days, he has received hundreds of requests from COVID-19 patients and their relatives in Delhi, Maharashtra and Gujarat seeking help in getting ICU beds, oxygen and medicines.
Mishra further added that he trying his level best with his resources to help and for the smooth process he has created an online form to get the details of the patients and their emergency requirements so that he can address them personally. He requests the people that anyone who needs immediate assistance with any Covid related emergencies fill the form.
He later added that with this initiative, he is trying to become a bridge between the needy people and the local facilities by providing them with important medicines and oxygen. On the last day, he could arrange 55 ICU beds in Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha etc. He even could make medicines and oxygen reach early nearly hundreds of serious patients.
