Ashwini Vaishnaw Files Nomination For Rajya Sabha From Odisha

Among all the 10 Rajya Sabha seats from Odisha, 3 are vacant that would be filled by Vaishnaw, and two other candidates of BJD.

Union Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw has filed a nomination for the upcoming Rajya Sabha election in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Vaishnaw shared this news through his official X handle. 

He is currently serving in the Union cabinet as Minister of Railway, Communication and Information Technology. The prominent and ruling government part of the state, Biju Janta Dal (BJD) has also given support to Vaishnaw for his remarkable work for the state’s development in terms of railway and infrastructure. 

Among all the 10 Rajya Sabha seats from Odisha, 3 are vacant that would be fulfilled by Vaishnaw, and two other candidates of BJD. A significant year of Vaishnaw’s professional career has been spent in Odisha as an IAS officer.
