Union Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw has received a winning certificate in Bhubaneswar. Biju Janata Dal (BJD) assured their support to the leader when he filed his nomination for the Rajya Sabha elections in Bhubaneswar, Odisha on Thursday.
Vaishnaw also shared this news on his official X account. The developmental work has been done by Vaishnaw in Odisha was stated as the major reason for support by BJD.
The Rajya Sabha elections will take place for 15 states on February 27. Voting will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the results will come out on the same day. The Election Commission (EC) has declared the biennial Rajya Sabha polls for 56 seats, as the tenure of the candidates ends in April.
