Benelli, the former Italian motorcycle manufacturer owned today by Qianjiang Group recently launched BS6 compliant Imperiale 400 BS6 bike in India at Rs.1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorbike is made available in silver, red and black colours.
The price difference between the recent model and the previous model BS 4-compliant model is 30,000 INR. Interestingly, the motorcycle enthusiasts can book their motorcycle by investing the amount of 6,000 INR either through online mode or paying to the nearby Benelli dealer.
Though the deliveries have not begun, however, are anxiously expected at the beginning of August. Moreover, there are no extensive changes in both of the models.
The BS-6 compliant engine along with its fuel-injected 373.5 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, the air-cooled engine develops the same 21 PS at 6,000 rpm and 29 Nm at 3,500 rpm, as before.
It is combined with a 5-speed gearbox. Even the engine delivers the same output figures, the difference lies in the power and torque now delivered at a different rpm range.
Besides, the company is also offering a multitude of services to foster the interest of the motorbike fanatics. They are providing complimentary service for the first two years covering 5 Periodic Maintenence services, a 3-Year Unlimited km warranty with the bike, and a pick and drop service along with 24×7 Road Side Assistance.
