Bhubaneswar, 18 September 2024: The Odisha Assembly of Small & Medium Enterprises (OASME), in collaboration with Futurex Trade Fair and Events Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, has announced the upcoming PROPACK ODISHA-2024 and ODISHA PLAST-2024 expos, scheduled to be held from 21st to 24th November 2024 at Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar.
This four-day event, now in its 3rd edition, will focus on the Plastic, Printing, Packaging, Converting, and Food Processing industries. Following the success of the 2023 edition, which saw participation from over 200 exhibitors and attracted 30,000 visitors, this year’s expo is expected to host 250+ participants from across India and globally renowned companies. The event is being supported by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, and the MSME Department, Government of Odisha.
Key representatives including Mr. Satwik Swain, Secretary General (Hony.) of OASME, Mr. Namit Gupta, Director of Futurex, and Mr. S. S. Chauhan, Managing Director of Mechatronics Machinery & Tools India, were present during the announcement. Other dignitaries included Ms. Jyotirmayee Mohanty, Ms. Pratishruti Jena, Mr. Ranjit Sahoo, Mr. Sabyasachi Behera, Mr. Paresh Sahoo, and Mr. Saroj Patra from OASME.
The exhibition will showcase the latest innovations and technologies in these industries, offering a platform for manufacturers, suppliers, and industry leaders to network and collaborate. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with plastics processing machinery, printing and packaging machinery, raw materials, moulds and dies, and finished products, creating a space for businesses to connect with potential customers and partners.
In addition to the exhibition, ODISHA PLAST & ODISHA PROPACK play a significant role in formulating standards for machinery and products used in Odisha’s industrial sectors. The event aims to support MSMEs and promote economic growth by providing a platform for B2B, B2C, and B2G interactions, particularly for local enterprises.
The exhibition will also host seminars and technical sessions on sector-specific topics, further enriching the knowledge base of participants. As the only B2B exhibition of its kind in Odisha, PROPACK ODISHA-2024 and ODISHA PLAST-2024 are expected to be one of the largest events in Eastern India, promoting business opportunities and fostering innovation in Odisha’s growing industrial landscape.
