The BJP observed bandh in Gajapati and Jharsuguda districts demanding the removal of Minister of State for Home Dibya Shankar Mistra for his alleged links with Gobinda Sahu who is the main accused in the sensational Mamita Meher murder case.
According to the official reports, BJP observed a 12-hour bandh from 6 am to 6 pm which affected the normal life in Gajapati where shops, markets, educational and business establishments remained closed.
