The cost of hanging posters in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) areas has been high for a multi-designer store.
The multi-designer store “Evolve” in the Jaydev Vihar area has been fined Rs 50,000 by the BMC for hanging posters from roadside trees. The BMC made this announcement via X, which was formerly Twitter.
The civic body also filed a complaint against the relevant organization in addition to this.
Avoid pasting unauthorized posters and banners on trees, utility poles, and roadside walls, according to a warning from the BMC. Infractions involving the placement of posters in prohibited areas carry fines.
Additionally, a police complaint will be made against the BMC mentioned on X, the concerned organization.
